My name’s Scott, and I work with Chi Alpha Campus Ministry on the University of Missouri and Columbia College campuses. I specifically help international students feel loved and at home while here in the States. Many of the students I interact with on a regular basis are from countries like China, Vietnam, and Saudi Arabia and who often have had little exposure to the Gospel. The ministry involves an international Bible study, monthly group events (like hayrides and Christmas parties), English clubs, English conversational partners that connect them with American students in Chi Alpha, and lots and lots of coffee drinking. My wife Elisa, who is from Italy and whom I met in Central Asia, connects with international students in her spare time when she’s not doing awesome things for international students at her job as an international student academic advisor at an area college.

Students are hungry for learning about Jesus, but often know very little about Him! I hope to remedy that through forming real relationships with the students and helping them to form equally real relationships with Jesus.
